Plotting the Characters within the scene

I started by creating a quick Blender Scene that would serve as my reference for colors, mood and lightning. I'm using a 3D scene since I have a very clear picture of what I want to show and I can have better control over it than having a mood board.

This is what the quick render looks like, and what I will use as the main reference for my colors.
